Rules & Expectations

Students are to follow ALL rules as posted in the ag classroom both behavorial and academically. If a student chooses not to follow these rules, they will be designated a specific punishment based on the severity of the action. CLASSROOM AND SHOP RULES: 1.Abide by all district and campus policies. 2.Attend class regularly and promptly. This includes having the necessary supplies and completed assignments. 3.Follow safety rules at all times. (You will be required to pass a safety test before being admitted to the shop.) 4.Respect ALL people, equipment, and furnishings in the classroom and shop. Disciplinary action and/or replacement fines will result in the event of violations. 5.Give your BEST effort in all class activities. 6.Take care of ALL personal needs BEFORE entering the classroom (restroom, water, phone, etc.). No food or drinks will be allowed in the room. 7.The Ag shop phone is off limits to all students. 8.Students should be quiet and prepared to work when the tardy bells rings. CLASS PROCEDURES: 1.All students should make every effort to attend class. In the event of an unavoidable absence, it is your responsibility to arrange make-up work. Deadlines found in the student handbook will be followed. 2.Be respectful at all times in the classroom and shop. 3.A learning atmosphere will be maintained in the classroom/shop. Students are expected to follow classroom/shop rules and procedures set forth by the classroom teacher at all times.
